Our school has several students from China. I do not have a good opinion of them for several reasons. Although I have to admit that most of them are OK.
First, their strange recognition of “friend”. When I first entered the school, someone befriended me very quickly. A Chinese girl helped me a lot although I did not really need her help. After only two weeks, she claimed that I am her friend. Then guess what happened? She wanted to borrow my I.D. Card and credit card. How dare she ask me that. I just could not believe it.
Then, they insisted on speaking Chinese. I often hear them speaking Chinese everywhere. This kind of behavior confuses me a lot. If they like to speak Chinese, then why did they come to Japan in the first place? You know, I was forced to live in inland China for three years. It was rare for me to have conversation with some in Japanese. I really do not like Chinese guys that come to Japan and insist on speaking Chinese.
