In the first place, I want to subscribe to some famous newspapers or magazines, like Financial Times and Wall Street as English materials. After I checked their prices, I gave up instantly.
Then, I recognized that Amazon started offering a service called “Kindle Unlimited” in Japan. After a trial of several days, I think it’s a good deal. Although they still don’t offer most new books or references in specific fields for free, I can read a huge amount of books and magazines for just 980JPY a month.
Unfortunately, Amazon Japan had not offer too many books, which being written in English, in their plan. So my problem was still unsettled.
Suddenly, an idea came to my mind – why not trying the Amazon US? After several steps of registering, I realized that I was right. I can literally read English books unlimited. Maybe they are not up to date, but for a foreign guy like me, it’s more than enough. Kindle Unlimited is just awesome. Amazon started another revolution in the world of books. They are changing the way people gain knowledge.
