Diary 11/5/H27

ichijyo

Today is my birthday, I’m 23 now, still stuck in undergraduate school. When I went to Japan for a test, I met a western guy who was twenty-sin still studying as an undergraduate. As he went to where he liked, maybe it is not so bad. And by the way, for many years I have not had friends, no one celebrated my birthday. Don’t worry, I have gotten used to it. I still feel really happy because my Japanese friends on Twitter remembered my brithday and celebrated with me.

Today, when the day was getting dark, the power was cut suddenly. This is not my first time experiencing a power cut in school, but I still did not expect it. I know that in China, especially the town I’m living in now is not that developed compared with the US, or even my hometown Shanghai. But, frequently power cuts? Come on… On the other hand, the experience of walking in the dark campus, hearing the people in panic because of the power cut, and eating in the dark cafeteria were hard to meet these days. As long as they let me have enough time to charge my devices, it will not bother my life too much. This is what I thought till last time. Reading in a dark environment harms my eyes. Last time this happened, I gave up reading. I turned on the emergency lights, and searched the radio for fun. It was a really weird experience, just like “The Walking Dead”, or something.
